A presentation on 7th. August 2016 to Mrs. Mary Timmiss of a certificate and badge from ‘Action for Children’ for over 50 years of support.
Mary in the past organised the ‘Door to Door’ collections and the sale of ‘Sunny Smiles’ in the Kimberworth Area, for the then named ‘National Children’s Home’, and continued with the distribution, collection and empting of the collection boxes.
In recent times the charity changed their name from ‘National Children’s Home’ to ‘NCH Action for Children'(1996) and to the now ‘Action for Children’ (2008).
